CCR post-production

After filming I got straight to editing and put all my clips into Premier Rush. I had trouble editing since I had to do it on my phone. My iPad stopped working and transferring all the videos from my phone to my computer wouldn't work. I made it work on my phone and got straight to work.

For my first CCR, when I put in all the clips I realized that I filmed wayyy too much. I cut down the repetitive parts and unnecessary pauses  I added the date in a small green font and a blinking red dot to represent that it is being recorded with a camera. The green numbers were the date and time that it was being filmed at. That was mostly it for the editing on this one

For the second CCR, editing was a little more complicated. I wanted this one to be as smooth as possible while also making it interesting. For starters, I made an intro using Canva and sounds from Pixabay. Then I cut down all the clips and increased the volume since when I talked it sounded really far away for some reason. Not only that but I realized while editing that it wasn't as long as I would have hoped for so to make up for that I repeated a few shots throughout

CCR #3 & 4 script

                             Tennis Court

Open the door into the court. Isa playing tennis, serving             balls.

                            Interviewer

Isa! Isa! Could I get a short interview with                         you really quick?

The interviewer runs up to Isa

                            Isa

Yes of course! What's your name?

                            Interviewer

My name is ------ it's so nice to meet you. I                         see your playing tennis, how long have you been                      playing for?

                            Isa

I've been playing since I was 6 years old. You do                     the math. (laughing)

                            Interviewer

So you must be pretty good then.

                            Isa

                    Well that's a stretch.

                            Interviewer

I recently saw "One More Marble" and I had to                        ask, How did your production skills develop                        throughout the project?

                            Isa

My production skills improved tremendously. I                        learned so much about lighting and filming.                        However I avoided editing at all cost. I really                     did try to edit but my skills for that just                        wouldn't improve. What really saved me was my                        teammates. Our chemistry as a group was unmatched                     and we supported each other where the other one                     lacked. We helped each other from choosing what                     genre to helping each other with our CCR's. They                     taught me what a good group is and how to divide                     up work to make it fair.

My production helped me to realize how much work                     a film really takes. Honestly, it will make me                        see movies in a different light now and pay more                     attention to the details and things the director                     does on purpose to make their audience feel a                        specific way. I've also started to do research on                     movies' after I watch them because I want to know                     what the director meant for the movie to become.

                            Interviewer

That's great to hear thank you so much for                            answering my questions! I'll leave you to play!                     Have fun!

                            Isa

                    Thank you!

CCR Production

For my first CCR, I decided to do it in an office-like setting, so I set up the camera on a desk. I also wanted it to be dark to add a mysterious sense and cover up any background I didn't want to be seen. To do this, I turned off all the lights in my house and used the computer light plus a small desk lamp so I could focus the lighting where I wanted.  I set up a tripod and started filming. I meant for this specific CCR to have noticeable cuts since it's a video log and more unprofessional and used to keep a record of things. I also used 2 different costumes so it's more noticeable that it was done on two separate occasions. I made sure to make them contrasting colors so it was really noticeable. It took me quite a few shots to get the ones that I wanted but in the end, it was pretty good and long.

For my second CCR, I rented out a tennis court and brought some supplies with me. I brought a friend with me to help me film and act as the host.  I brought a tripod, microphones, and tennis equipment. This CCR i tried to use the least amounts of cuts i could because I wanted it to feel more natural. However I had trouble trying to remember the script completely. No matter how many times I read the script before hand it would just not stay in my head. I also had trouble realizing it was a tad bit too short so I just made up the time with my other CCR which the answers. were more detailed

CCR #4

 What technologies did you integrate?

Software:
We used Premiere Rush to edit our film since we had the most practice with that one and was pretty straightforward forward unlike other premiere editing apps. However, this limited the amount of editing abilities that we had at hand we compromised and found other ways to do it by using apps like Canva.

Hardware:
We used an iPhone 15 Pro Max to record and used the normal camera app. I wish we could have gotten an actual camera but none of us had one or were available to get one in time for filming. It could've made the quality much better but we just tried putting the iPhone on the best settings to record.
We also used a tripod I had at home to be able to place the camera where we wanted it and have it stabilized. We also took it by hand to give it some natural hand movement and make it a little uncomfortable for the viewer.
To upload our project and make it public we are most likely going to use OneDrive or YouTube.

CCR#3

How did your production skills develop throughout the project?

I am an active person, I play tennis and I enjoy working out and walking around my neighborhood. Considering that I might make one of my media for the CCR a "warming up" for tennis or actually playing. Since this is a more personal CCR I thought questions three and four would tie in perfectly.

My production helped me to realize how much work making a whole entire film actually takes. It most definitely will make me see movies in a different light now pay more attention to details and things that the director does on purpose to make their audience feel some sort of way. I've also started to do more research on movies that I watch because I really want to take in what the director meant for the movie to become.

I overall think my project went by mostly smoothly, I enjoyed almost every single step in it, except for editing, and I couldn't ask for better teammates. We helped each other from coming up with what genre we were going to do to coming up with ideas for our CCR's not only that but working with them was such a good experience we look forward to doing a passion project now to hopefully help communities. Anyway back to the point they taught me how to work as a group and divide our work evenly.

We didn't have many problems that we couldn't get through together.
